“If you can see it in your mind, you can hold it in your hand.” – Bob Proctor

Most people think achieving success is about hard work, long hours, and relentless effort. But as Bob Proctor often said, success is not about working harder—it’s about working in harmony with universal laws.
If you’ve ever set a goal, felt excited, worked hard for a while, and still ended up stuck in the same place—you’re not alone. The reason most people don’t achieve their goals is simple: they create from their current results, not from their ideal image.

In this week’s You Were Born Rich Mastershow, we explored one of the most powerful lessons Bob Proctor ever taught: Live Your Ideal. Let’s unpack what that truly means—and how you can start applying it today.

1. The Real Purpose of a Goal

We’ve been taught to set goals that seem realistic or achievable.
But the moment you limit your goals to what seems “possible,” you close the door to the extraordinary.

Bob Proctor defined three types of goals:

  • A-Type Goals: Something you already know how to do.
  • B-Type Goals: Something you think you can do, based on effort and planning.
  • C-Type Goals: Something that excites and scares you at the same time—a dream that stretches your current self.

The C-Goal is the only one worth pursuing because it forces you to grow. It’s not about getting something you don’t have; it’s about becoming someone you’re not yet.
When you pick a goal that aligns with your deepest desire—not your current circumstances—you activate your creative potential.

So instead of asking, “Can I do this?” ask, “Do I really want this?”

2. Understanding the Creative Process
Every result begins with one thing: a thought.
Everything you see around you—your phone, your home, your business—once existed only in someone’s mind.

The Creative Process, as taught in Thinking Into Results and Bob Proctor’s teachings, follows a simple pattern:

Thought → Feeling → Action → Result

Let’s break that down:

  • Thought – You imagine something new. You build an idea in your conscious mind.
  • Feeling – That thought, when impressed upon your subconscious, generates a vibration or emotion.
  • Action – You act according to that vibration.
  • Result – The universe mirrors your vibration back as physical results.

Most people try to change their results (the effect) without changing their thoughts (the cause). But all transformation begins in the mind.

The secret is to create from the inside out, not from the outside in.

3. Living From the Goal, Not Toward It

Here’s where most goal-setters go wrong: they live toward their goal.
They say, “Once I achieve it, then I’ll feel confident, happy, or free.”

But the laws of the universe work the opposite way.
To attract the reality you want, you must embody the frequency of that result now.

That means thinking, feeling, and acting as if your goal were already accomplished.
When you live from the goal, your subconscious begins to accept it as truth—and your outer world rearranges itself accordingly.

Try this:

  • Write your goal in the present tense, as if it already happened. Example: “I am easily earning €20,000 a month doing work I love and helping people transform their lives.”
  •  Read it out loud every morning and night.
  • Feel the gratitude and excitement of already having it.

You’re training your mind to believe it—and the universe to deliver it.

4. Paradigms: The Hidden Programming Controlling Your Results

Even when you know what to do, something inside often holds you back. That something is your paradigm—the collection of beliefs, habits, and emotional patterns stored in your subconscious mind.

Your paradigm controls:

  • How much money you earn
  • How healthy you are
  • How much confidence you feel
  • What kind of opportunities you notice (or miss)

Changing your paradigm isn’t about motivation; it’s about reprogramming.
Every time you impress a new idea (your C-Goal) on your subconscious with emotion and repetition, you weaken the old paradigm.

The key is consistency—to hold the new image long enough for it to replace the old one.

That’s why most people quit before results show up. The new paradigm was forming—but they stopped feeding it.

Stay the course. The invisible work is the real work.

5. Aligning With Universal Laws

The Creative Process operates according to universal laws—principles that govern everything in existence, whether you believe in them or not.

Two of the most important are:

  • The Law of Vibration and Attraction

Everything vibrates. When your vibration (your dominant feeling) matches your desire, the two come together by law. You don’t “chase” your dream—it’s drawn to you.

  • The Law of Cause and Effect

Every result has a cause. To change the effect, you must change the cause—your thinking.

Bob Proctor used to say, “If you can tell me what you’re thinking most of the time, I can tell you what your life looks like.”

That’s how exact this process is.

6. Faith: The Bridge Between the Invisible and the Visible

Once you set your C-Goal and begin to act from it, something interesting happens—your old self resists.
Doubt, fear, and logic will whisper, “Be realistic.”

This is where most people stop. But this is also where faith begins.

Faith isn’t blind belief; it’s understanding how the laws of the mind and the universe work.
When you understand that every result begins in thought—and that thought energy never dies—you can relax into the knowing that your goal already exists in the unseen.

Your job is to hold the image and stay emotionally connected to it until it manifests.

That’s not wishful thinking—that’s science.

7. Gratitude: The Accelerant of the Creative Process

Gratitude is the emotional state that magnetizes abundance.
When you give thanks for what you already have—and for what’s coming—you align with the frequency of receiving.

Start and end each day with gratitude.
Not just for the big things, but for the smallest details—the breath you’re taking, the opportunities unfolding, the lessons learned.

Gratitude turns resistance into receptivity.

8. Applying It to Your Life Today

Here’s how you can begin living your ideal—starting now:

  • Define your C-Goal. Write a goal that excites and scares you.
  • Visualize daily. See yourself already living it. Engage all your senses.
  • Feel it real. Emotion is the language of the subconscious.
  • Persist. Paradigm shifts take repetition and faith.

Do this every day for the next 30 days—and watch your environment, circumstances, and self-image begin to shift.

9. You Were Born to Live Your Ideal

You’re not here to live by default—you’re here to live by design.
Your desires aren’t random; they’re messages from your higher potential, calling you to express more of who you truly are.

The moment you decide to live from your ideal, everything begins to align.
Doors open. People appear. Ideas flow.
Why? Because you’ve stepped into harmony with your purpose.

The Creative Process is already working for you—whether you know it or not. The choice is: will you use it consciously or unconsciously?

Start now. Write the goal that makes your heart race.
Hold the image. Feel it real. Act from it.

And remember—you were never meant to chase results.
You were born to create them.
